Potok Ognia zadaje obrażenia dowolnemu celowi równe największej wartości many spośród permanentów, które kontrolujesz.

Jak działa karta?

Potok Ognia zadaje obrażenia równające się najwyższej wartości many spośród twoich permanentów w momencie rozwiązywania czaru. Cel wybierasz przy rzucaniu; obrażenia oblicza się przy rozwiązywaniu.

To czar sorcery. Gdy rozgrywasz Potok Ognia, zadaje on obrażenia celowi, które są równe największej wartości many (mana value) spośród wszystkich permanentów, które kontrolujesz w chwili rozwiązywania się czaru. "Permanent" to obiekty znajdujące się na polu gry (np. stwory, artefakty, czary trwałe, ziemie itp.). Jeśli nie kontrolujesz żadnych permanentów, największa wartość many wynosi 0, więc czar nie zadaje obrażeń.

Potok Ognia wybiera cel przy odpalaniu (kiedy rzucasz czar). Cel może być dowolnym celem dopuszczalnym przez słowa "any target" (np. gracz, planeswalker lub stworzenie). Jeśli podczas rozwiązywania się czaru największa wartość many twoich permanentów jest inna niż wtedy, gdy wybierałeś cel, to używa się wartości obowiązującej w chwili rozwiązywania.

Wartość many (mana value) to liczba umieszczona na permanencie lub obliczona zgodnie z zasadami gry; dla kart z hybrydową, kosztami konwertowanymi itd. należy stosować standardową definicję wartości many.

Potok Ognia nie zadaje obrażeń w chwili rzucania; obrażenia są zadawane tylko przy rozwiązywaniu się czaru i używają aktualnej największej wartości many twoich permanentów.

Częste pomyłki

Myślenie, że obrażenia są ustalane przy rzucaniu czaru — wartość obliczana jest przy rozwiązywaniu.
Liczenie kart w ręce lub w grobie jako permanenty — tylko obiekty na polu gry są permanentami.
Zakładanie, że Potok Ognia zadaje obrażenia nawet jeśli nie kontrolujesz permanentów — w takim wypadku zadaje 0 obrażeń.
