Po zadaniu obrażeń bojowych możesz położyć awakening countery na wybrane przez siebie lądy, które przez obecność countera stają się jednocześnie 8/8 zielonymi Elementalami, ale dalej pozostają lądami. Efekt zależy wyłącznie od obecności countera, nie od Liege of the Tangle.

Zdolność: Trample (pogrom) oraz wyzwalana zdolność: kiedy ta istota zada obrażenia bojowe graczowi, możesz wybrać dowolną liczbę celów — lądy, które kontrolujesz — i położyć na każdym z nich po jednym awakening counterze. Whether an affected land remains an 8/8 green Elemental creature depends only on whether it still has an awakening counter on it, not on whether Liege of the Tangle is still on the battlefield.

If an awakening counter is moved from an affected land to another land, this doesn't cause the recipient to be affected by Liege of the Tangle's ability.
