Gdy przeciwnik zagrywa zaklęcie Creature, ta enchantment wyzwala zdolność: zadaje mu 2 obrażeń chyba że zapłaci {2} . Każde zagranie stworzenia uruchamia oddzielną decyzję/płatność.

Na karcie: „Whenever an opponent casts a creature spell, this enchantment deals 2 damage to that player unless they pay {2} ." Oznacza to, że za każdym razem, gdy przeciwnik kładzie na stos zaklęcie ze słowem typowym Creature, wariant wyzwalany tej enchantment trafia na stos. Gdy ta wyzwalana zdolność się rozwiązuje, daje ono temu konkretnemu graczowi wybór: zapłacić koszt {2} (dwie dowolne many) lub otrzymać 2 obrażeń. „Creature spell” oznacza każde zaklęcie mające w swoim typie Creature, także jeśli ma dodatkowe typy (np. Artifact Creature lub Enchantment Creature). Starsze karty z typem Summon także są traktowane jak Creature spells.
Efekt powoduje obrażenia graczowi, nie stworzeniu. Zapłacenie musi być dokonane natychmiast, gdy zdolność się rozwiązuje; jeżeli gracz nie zapłaci, otrzymuje 2 obrażeń.
Jeżeli kilku przeciwników jednocześnie rzuca zaklęcia stworzeń (np. w formatach drużynowych), każdorazowe rzucenie uruchamia oddzielną zdolność — każda z nich wymaga oddzielnej płatności lub zadaje 2 obrażeń temu konkretnemu graczowi.

Częste pomyłki

Mylenie celu obrażeń — obrażenia są zadawane graczowi, a nie stworzeniu.
Uważanie, że jedno zapłacenie pokrywa wiele zaklęć — trzeba zapłacić za każde uruchomienie zdolności oddzielnie.
Myślenie, że tylko zwykłe Creature bez dodatkowych typów liczą się — także Artifact Creature, Enchantment Creature i stare Summon liczą się jako creature spells.

Przykład: Masz Barierę dusz na stole. Przeciwnik A zagrywa 3/3 Creature — wyzwala się zdolność; gdy się rozwiązuje, przeciwnik A może zapłacić {2} . Jeśli nie zapłaci, otrzymuje 2 obrażeń. Następnie przeciwnik B zagrywa token stworzenia lub spell Creature — to uruchamia kolejną, oddzielną zdolność, która również wymaga zapłaty {2} lub zada 2 obrażeń temu drugiemu przeciwnikowi.

A “creature spell” is any spell with the type Creature, even if it has other types such as Artifact or Enchantment. Older cards of type Summon are also Creature spells.
