Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Sighted-Caste Sorcerer

Stworzenie — Człowiek Wizard Sorcerer

Exalted (Whenever a creature you control attacks alone, that creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.)
{U}

: This creature gains shroud until end of turn. (It can't be the target of spells or abilities.)

Jak działa karta?

Exalted: if exactly one creature you control is declared as an attacker, that creature gets +1/+1 for each exalted you control. {U} : Pay blue to give this creature shroud (can't be targeted) until end of turn.

Sighted-Caste Sorcerer has two things: 1) Exalted — a triggered ability that reads: "Whenever a creature you control attacks alone, that creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn." This means when you declare attackers and exactly one creature you control is declared as an attacker, each permanent you control with exalted (including this creature if it had exalted) will trigger. Each resolved trigger gives that single attacking creature +1/+1 until end of turn. If multiple exalted abilities are present, the bonuses stack. Exalted triggers only when the creature is declared as an attacker; creatures that were put onto the battlefield already attacking do not cause exalted to trigger. If you declared more than one attacker and later all but one are removed from combat, exalted will not trigger because it checks the declaration step. Exalted triggers resolve before blockers are declared. 2) Activated ability " {U} : This creature gains shroud until end of turn." You can pay one blue mana to give this creature shroud; shroud means it can't be the target of spells or abilities for the rest of the turn.

Ważne interakcje

Exalted triggers when you declare exactly one creature as an attacker. If that creature attacks alone, each exalted ability you control triggers and will give that attacking creature +1/+1 until end of turn.
Activated ability : you may pay U to give this creature shroud until end of turn. While it has shroud it can't be targeted by spells or abilities.
If a creature is put onto the battlefield already attacking (not declared), it does not cause exalted to trigger. Exalted triggers only when you declare attackers.
Exalted triggers resolve before blockers are declared, so the bonus applies during blocking.
In Two-Headed Giant, "attacks alone" means the only creature declared as an attacker by your team. Your teammate's exalted abilities do not trigger for your attacking creature.

Częste pomyłki

Thinking exalted cares about creatures that were put onto the battlefield already attacking — it doesn't; it only cares about creatures declared as attackers.
Assuming exalted triggers for an attacking creature even if it was declared alongside other attackers — exalted only triggers when exactly one creature is declared as an attacker.
Believing shroud lets the creature be targeted by its controller's spells or abilities — shroud prevents all players, including the creature's controller, from targeting it.

Przykład

If you attack with only Sighted-Caste Sorcerer and you control two permanents with exalted, two exalted triggers will go on the stack. When they resolve, the attacking Sorcerer will get +1/+1 twice, ending up with +2/+2 until end of turn.

In a Two-Headed Giant game, a creature "attacks alone" if it's the only creature declared as an attacker by your entire team. If you control that attacking creature, your exalted abilities will trigger but your teammate's exalted abilities won't.

2008-10-01

Exalted bonuses last until end of turn. If an effect creates an additional combat phase during your turn, a creature that attacked alone during the first combat phase will still have its exalted bonuses in that new phase. If a creature attacks alone during the second combat phase, all your exalted abilities will trigger again.

2008-10-01

Exalted abilities will resolve before blockers are declared.

2008-10-01

If you attack with multiple creatures, but then all but one are removed from combat, your exalted abilities won't trigger.

2008-10-01

If you declare exactly one creature as an attacker, each exalted ability on each permanent you control (including, perhaps, the attacking creature itself) will trigger. The bonuses are given to the attacking creature, not to the permanent with exalted. Ultimately, the attacking creature will wind up with +1/+1 for each of your exalted abilities.

2008-10-01

Some effects put creatures onto the battlefield attacking. Since those creatures were never declared as attackers, they're ignored by exalted abilities. They won't cause exalted abilities to trigger. If any exalted abilities have already triggered (because exactly one creature was declared as an attacker), those abilities will resolve as normal even though there may now be multiple attackers.
