Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Prowler, Clawed Thief

Legendary Creature — Human Rogue Villain

Menace: To block Prowler, defending player must assign two or more creatures to block it. Single-creature blocks are not allowed.
Connive process: When another Villain you control enters the battlefield, Prowler's triggered ability goes on the stack. When that ability resolves, do these steps in order and without interruption: 1) Draw a card. 2) Discard a card. 3) If the discarded card was a nonland card, put a +1/+1 counter on Prowler.
Timing and interruption: Once the connive ability begins to resolve, no player may take actions until it finishes resolving. For example, an opponent cannot remove Prowler after you discard a nonland card but before the counter would be placed.
No card discarded: If no card is discarded (for example, your hand is empty and you couldn't draw, or another effect prevents discarding), you won't get a +1/+1 counter because the condition requires discarding a nonland card.
Creature left battlefield: If Prowler leaves the battlefield after its connive ability begins resolving but before it would receive a counter, the connive process still happens (you still draw and discard). However, if you discarded a nonland card you can't put a +1/+1 counter on Prowler because it's no longer on the battlefield. Abilities that trigger "when [that creature] connives" will still trigger even if the creature has left the battlefield.

Once an ability that causes a creature to connive begins to resolve, no player may take any other actions until it's done. Notably, opponents can't try to remove the conniving creature after you discard a nonland card but before it receives a counter.

2025-09-19

If no card is discarded, most likely because that player's hand is empty and an effect says they can't draw cards, the conniving creature does not receive a +1/+1 counter.

2025-09-19

If a resolving spell or ability instructs a specific creature to connive but that creature has left the battlefield, the creature still connives. If you discard a nonland card this way, you won't put a +1/+1 counter on anything. Abilities that trigger "when [that creature] connives" will trigger.
