Jak działa karta?

Gdy augmentujesz, enchantujesz lub mutujesz stworzenie, które kontrolujesz, dobierasz kartę. Możesz też zakręcić tę kartę, aby dodać jedną manę dowolnego koloru (biała, niebieska, czarna, czerwona lub zielona).

Zdolność wyzwalająca: „Whenever you augment, enchant, or mutate a creature you control, draw a card.” — to jest zdolność wyzwalana (triggered ability). Za każdym razem, gdy zachodzi któreś z wymienionych działań wobec stworzenia, które kontrolujesz, ta zdolność trafia na stos. Gdy się rozwiąże, dobierasz jedną kartę. Ważne: musi to być czynność, która w regułach jest opisana jako „augment”, „enchant” (czyli nałożenie aura/enchantment na stworzenie) lub „mutate” (łączenie stworzeń zgodnie z regułami mutate). Ważne interakcje

Zdolność wyzwala się zawsze, gdy *augmentujesz*, *zaklinasz* (enchant) albo *mutujesz* stworzenie, które kontrolujesz. „Augment”, „enchant” i „mutate” są tu użyte w sensie zasadniczym: jeśli efekt dokładnie opisany przez te słowa zachodzi, zdolność wyzwala się.
Zdolność jest wyzwalana niezależnie od tego, czy akcja pochodzi z karty należącej do ciebie, czy z efektu innego źródła — ważne jest jedynie, że ty kontrolujesz stworzenie, które zostaje augmentowane, enchanted lub mutated.
Jeśli ta zdolność wyzwalająca trafia na stos i następnie jest anulowana lub nie rozwiązuje się (np. gracz nie może dobrać karty, bo nie ma kart w bibliotece), nie dobierzesz karty.

Częste pomyłki

Mylenie „enchant” z jednorazowym efektem: musi to być nałożenie enchantmentu albo efekt, który w regułach jest opisany jako enchant (aura). Nie każde „danie” buffa to enchant.
Myślenie, że zdolność wyzwala się, gdy augment/enchant/mutate wykonywane jest na stworzeniu przeciwnika — musi to być stworzenie, które ty kontrolujesz.
Zakładanie, że produkowana mana jest automatycznie wszystkich kolorów jednocześnie — daje jedną manę jednego z wymienionych kolorów, nie pięć.

Przykład

Przykłady: jeśli do swojego stworzenia dołączysz aurę (enchant) lub zagrasz kartę z mechaniką augment tak, że augmentujesz własne stworzenie, zdolność wyzwoli się i dobierzesz kartę; jeśli wykonasz mutate na swoim stworzeniu, także dobierzesz kartę. Zakręcenie (T) tej karty daje jedną manę dowolnego koloru spośród {W} , {U} , {B} , {R} , {G} .

Surgeon Commander’s color identity is all five colors, thanks to the mana symbols in its rules text. It can be included only in five-color Commander decks. Creative templating, indeed.
