(Brak bezpośredniego tekstu Oracle w dostarczonych danych).

To interpret and use this modal double-faced card, follow these rules derived from the provided rulings: 1) Choice of face: When you put the card into play or cast it, you choose which face you are playing/casting. If you play it as a land, you are using the Garden of Freyalise face; if you cast it as a creature, you are using the Disciple of Freyalise face. 2) Effects that specify card types or zones: If an effect allows you to play or cast cards from a set (for example, play lands from your graveyard), you may play or cast this card only if the chosen face fits that effect’s criteria. Example: an effect that lets you play lands from your graveyard can allow you to play Garden of Freyalise from your graveyard, but not to cast Disciple of Freyalise from the graveyard. 3) Casting vs playing: If an effect specifically allows you to cast this card (rather than play it), you cannot instead play it as a land. 4) Legality checks: To determine whether playing or casting the card is legal, look only at the chosen face’s characteristics and ignore the other face. For example, if an effect stops you from casting creature spells, you cannot cast Disciple of Freyalise, but you can still play Garden of Freyalise. 5) Transformation: This modal double-faced card cannot be transformed and cannot be put onto the battlefield transformed. Ignore any instruction that would transform it. 6) Mana value: The mana value depends on the face being considered. On the stack or battlefield use the up face; in other zones use the front face. 7) Effects that put cards onto the battlefield without playing or casting: Such effects check the front face’s characteristics in the zone they act on. For example, an effect that returns a creature card from a graveyard to the battlefield can return Disciple of Freyalise (the front face). But an effect that returns a land card from a graveyard to a hand cannot return Garden of Freyalise, because in the graveyard only the front face’s characteristics are considered.

Ważne interakcje

To play this card as a land, choose the Garden of Freyalise face and follow land rules. To cast it as a creature, choose the Disciple of Freyalise face and follow spell-casting rules.
If an effect lets you play or cast cards from a group, you may choose either face only if that face fits the effect’s criteria (e.g., a land-playing effect can let you play Garden of Freyalise but not cast Disciple of Freyalise).
If an effect specifically allows you to cast this modal double-faced card, you may not instead play it as a land.
When determining whether you may play or cast the card, consider only the chosen face’s characteristics and ignore the other face.
This modal double-faced card cannot be transformed and cannot enter the battlefield transformed; ignore any instruction to transform it.
Mana value depends on the face being considered: on the stack or battlefield use the up face; in other zones use the front face.
If an effect puts a card with particular characteristics onto the battlefield without telling you to play or cast it, only the front face’s characteristics in that zone matter; for example, an effect that returns a creature card from a graveyard to the battlefield can return Disciple of Freyalise (front face), but an effect returning a land card from graveyard to hand cannot return Garden of Freyalise (back face) because in the graveyard only the front face’s characteristics are used.

Możesz zagrać Garden of Freyalise (tylko tylna strona). Przykład 2: Efekt pozwala odtwarzać stworzenia z cmentarza na pole bitwy. Możesz wybrać Disciple of Freyalise (przednia strona) i umieścić je na polu bitwy. Przykład 3: Efekt mówi, że możesz rzucić konkretną kartę modal double-faced. Wtedy możesz ją tylko rzucić jako zaklęcie, nie możesz zagrać jej jako ziemi.

If an effect allows you to play a land or cast a spell from among a group of cards, you may play or cast a modal double-faced card with any face that fits the criteria of that effect. For example, if an effect allows you to play lands from your graveyard, you can play Garden of Freyalise, but you can't cast Disciple of Freyalise.

2024-06-07

A modal double-faced card can't be transformed or be put onto the battlefield transformed. Ignore any instruction to transform a modal double-faced card or to put one onto the battlefield transformed.

2024-06-07

To determine whether it is legal to play a modal double-faced card, consider only the characteristics of the face you're playing and ignore the other face's characteristics. For example, if an effect stops you from casting creature spells, you can't cast Disciple of Freyalise, but you can still play Garden of Freyalise.

2024-06-07

If an effect allows you to play a specific modal double-faced card, you may cast it as a spell or play it as a land, as determined by which face you choose to play. If an effect allows you to cast (rather than "play") a specific modal double-faced card, you can't play it as a land.

2024-06-07

The mana value of a modal double-faced card is based on the characteristics of the face that's being considered. On the stack or the battlefield, consider whichever face is up. In all other zones, consider only the front face. This is different than how the mana value of a transforming double-faced card is determined.

2024-06-07

Use the power of the sacrificed creature as it last existed on the battlefield to determine the value of X.

2024-06-07

If an effect allows you to put a card with particular characteristics onto the battlefield without instructing you to play or cast it, you consider only the characteristics of a modal double-faced card's front face to see if that card qualifies. If it does, it enters the battlefield with its front face up. For example, if an effect allows you to put a creature card from your graveyard onto the battlefield, you can put Disciple of Freyalise onto the battlefield. However, an effect that lets you return a land card from your graveyard to your hand won't let you return Garden of Freyalise to your hand, as that card has only its front face's characteristics while in the graveyard.
