Rem Karolus ma Latanie (Flying) i Pośpiech (Haste). Pierwsza zastępująca umiejętność zapobiega obrażeniom zadawanym przez czary, które byłyby skierowane do ciebie lub permanentu, który kontrolujesz. Efekty opisane dotyczą wyłącznie obrażeń zadawanych BEZPOŚREDNIO przez czary będące na stosie — nie odnoszą się do obrażeń zadawanych przez obiekty przekształcone z czarów ani przez efekty powodujące, że jakiś obiekt zadaje obrażenia (np. walkę).
Gdy czar dzieli zadawane obrażenia między wiele celów należących do przeciwnika, najpierw podziel oryginalną liczbę, a dopiero potem do każdego miejsca, które otrzyma obrażenia od tego czaru, dodaj +1.
Jeśli inny efekt zmienia albo zapobiega części obrażeń od czaru skierowanych do przeciwnika lub jego permanenta, gracz otrzymujący obrażenia (lub kontroler tego permanenta) wybiera kolejność stosowania tych efektów; jeśli wszystko zostanie zapobiegnięte, efekt Rema nie ma zastosowania.

Częste pomyłki

Mylenie słowa „czar" z permanentem — efekty tej karty dotyczą tylko obrażeń zadawanych przez czary na stosie, nie przez permanenty powstałe z czarów.
Myślenie, że Rem sam zadaje dodatkowe +1 obrażeń — dodatkowe obrażenia są zadawane przez oryginalne źródło czaru, nie przez Rema.

Rzucasz czar, który miał zadać 4 obrażenia rozdzielone na 2 do przeciwnika i 2 do jego stwora; przed dodaniem +1 dzielisz 4 na 2 i 2, a potem każdy z tych celów otrzyma 3 obrażenia.

Some spells cause other objects to deal damage, such as spells that cause two creatures to fight. Rem Karolus, Stalwart Slayer's last two abilities don't apply to damage from such effects.

The additional 1 damage is dealt by the original source of damage. The additional damage isn't dealt by Rem Karolus.

If damage dealt by a source you control is being divided or assigned among multiple permanents an opponent controls or among an opponent and one or more permanents they control, divide the original amount before adding 1. For example, if you cast a spell that deals 4 damage divided among any number of targets and you choose to have it deal 2 damage to a creature and 2 damage to that creature's controller, that spell will deal 3 damage to each of them instead.

If another effect modifies how much damage a spell would deal to an opponent or a permanent they control, including preventing some of it, the player being dealt damage or the controller of the permanent being dealt damage chooses an order in which to apply those effects. If all of the damage is prevented, Rem's effect no longer applies.
