Przód (Mędrzec) ma wyzwalaną zdolność „dobierz kartę” przy wejściu. Jeśli wchodząc nie masz kart na ręku i karta zostanie usunięta, zdolność i tak się rozwiąże i dobierzesz kartę. Tył (Wilkołak) transformuje się, jeśli w poprzedniej turze ten sam gracz rzucił dwa lub więcej czarów; wymaganie dotyczy jednej osoby, a patrzenie obejmuje całą poprzednią turę.
Mędrzec Starożytnej Wiedzy wchodzi na pole bitwy i ma zdolność wyzwalaną „kiedy wchodzi na pole bitwy, dobierz kartę” (zdolność wyzwalana). Jeśli po wejściu na pole bitwy nie masz kart na ręku, kontrolujesz wyzwalacz, ale stan gry może spowodować, że Mędrzec zostanie przeniesiony do cmentarza (np. efekt mówiący „odłóż tę kartę do cmentarza, jeśli nie masz kart na ręku”); nawet jeśli Mędrzec nie będzie już na polu bitwy, jego zdolność wyzwalana wciąż rozwiąże się i dobierzesz kartę. Przed rozwiązaniem tej zdolności jakiś efekt przenosi Mędrca do cmentarza (np. efekt mówiący, że jeśli nie masz kart na ręku, usuń tę kartę). Zdolność wyzwalana mimo to rozwiązuje się i dobierasz kartę, chociaż Mędrzec już nie jest na polu bitwy.

Rulings
If you have no cards in hand after Sage of Ancient Lore enters the battlefield, it will be put into your graveyard before its first triggered ability resolves. You'll draw a card, but Sage of Ancient Lore will already be gone.
To trigger the Werewolf's back face's transform ability, a single player must have cast two or more spells during the previous turn. If multiple players each cast just one spell during the previous turn, the ability won't trigger.
The abilities that transform a Werewolf back and forth look at the entire previous turn, even if the Werewolf with that ability wasn't on the battlefield for some or all of that turn.
