Aura enchant creature. Gdy dołączone stworzenie otrzyma obrażenia, wyzwalacz z Aury sprawia, że to stworzenie zostaje zniszczone.

Mortal Wound to Aura — enchant creature. Gdy stworzenie, do którego dołączona jest ta Aura, otrzyma obrażenia, zostaje zniszczone. Mechanika: Aura musi być dołączona do stworzenia (Enchant creature). Kiedy to stworzenie otrzyma jakiekolwiek obrażenia (combat lub z jakiegokolwiek innego źródła), wyzwalacz z Aury umieszcza się na stosie i, gdy rozwiąże się, stworzenie zostaje zniszczone (put into its owner’s graveyard). Jeśli obrażenia zostaną zapobieżone, nie doszło do zadania obrażeń i wyzwalacz nie wystąpi. Ważne interakcje

Aura enters the battlefield attached to a creature when you cast it targeting that creature.
If the enchanted creature is dealt any amount of damage, it is destroyed (put into its owner's graveyard).
Damage from any source triggers the effect — combat damage, noncombat damage, or damage from a spell/ability.
The trigger sees the damage as it is dealt; it doesn't matter whether the creature survives the damage event (damage won't be prevented by the trigger itself).
If the creature is dealt damage while it has protection from a source, and that damage is prevented, the trigger does not occur because no damage was dealt.
If the Aura stops enchanting the creature before the damage is dealt (for example, it's moved or the creature becomes illegal), the trigger won't be tied to that creature.
If multiple instances of this effect could cause the same creature to be destroyed, the result is simply that the creature is destroyed (no additional layered interactions).

Częste pomyłki

Niektóre osoby myślą, że trzeba wybrać źródło obrażeń — nie: każda sytuacja zadania obrażeń temu stworzeniu (combat lub nie) wyzwala efekt.
Błędne jest też sądzenie, że efekt zapobiegający obrażeniom (np. damage prevention) nie ma znaczenia — jeśli obrażenia zostaną zapobieżone, wyzwalacz nie wystąpi, bo nie doszło do zadania obrażeń.
Nie myl tego z efektem zmieniającym obrażenia na śmiertelne; Mortal Wound nie zadaje obrażeń samo w sobie — ono tylko reaguje na zadane obrażenia i wtedy niszczy stworzenie.

Przykład: Rzucasz Mortal Wound na stworzenie przeciwnika. W bitwie to stworzenie otrzymuje 3 obrażenia od innego stworzenia; po otrzymaniu obrażeń wyzwalacz Aury trafia na stos i po rozwiązaniu powoduje zniszczenie tego stworzenia.
