Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Dar Wzrostu (Gift of Growth)

Instant

Kicker {2} (You may pay an additional {2} as you cast this spell.)
Untap target creature. It gets +2/+2 until end of turn. If this spell was kicked, that creature gets +4/+4 until end of turn instead.

Jak działa karta?

Instant z kickerem {2}. Odtapuje celowaną istotę, daje jej +2/+2 do końca tury; jeśli zapłaciłeś kicker, zamiast tego daje +4/+4. Odtapowanie następuje przed przyznaniem premii.

Kicker {2} — gdy odpalasz ten czar, możesz zapłacić dodatkowe {2}. Jeśli zapłacisz tę dodatkową kwotę, czar jest "kicked" (kopnięty). Aby obliczyć całkowity koszt rzucenia czaru, zacznij od jego kosztu many (tu brak, bo to instant bez kosztu many), dodaj wszelkie zwiększenia kosztu (np. kicker), potem zastosuj wszelkie redukcje kosztu. Wartość many (mana value) karty nie zmienia się w wyniku płacenia lub niepłacenia kickera.

Gdy Gift of Growth rozwiązuje się (resolves), wykonaj najpierw efekty w kolejności napisanej: odtapuj celowaną istotę, a następnie przyznaj jej premię do siły i wytrzymałości do końca tury.

Przykład: Masz Gift of Growth i chcesz odtapować swoją istotę oraz dać jej większą premię. Gdy odpalasz Gift of Growth, możesz zapłacić dodatkowe {2}. Jeśli zapłacisz, po rozstrzygnięciu istota zostanie najpierw odtapowana, a potem otrzyma +4/+4 do końca tury; jeśli nie zapłacisz, otrzyma +2/+2.

Rulings

To determine a spell's total cost, start with the mana cost (or an alternative cost if another card's effect allows you to pay one instead), add any cost increases (such as kicker), then apply any cost reductions. The spell's mana value remains unchanged, no matter what the total cost to cast it was.

If you copy a kicked spell on the stack, the copy is also kicked. If the copied spell is a permanent spell, the token the copy of that spell becomes when it enters is also kicked.

If a card or token enters as a copy of a permanent, the new permanent isn't kicked, even if the original was.

If you put a permanent with a kicker ability onto the battlefield without casting it, you can't kick it.

The kicker ability doesn't let you pay a kicker cost more than once.

If a spell's kicker cost was paid, the spell is "kicked."

If Gift of Growth was kicked, the target creature is untapped before getting +4/+4.
