Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Lacerate Flesh

Sorcery

Lacerate Flesh deals 4 damage to target creature. Create a number of Blood tokens equal to the amount of excess damage dealt to that creature this way. (They're artifacts with "{1}, {T}, Discard a card, Sacrifice this token: Draw a card.")

Jak działa karta?

Zadaje 4 obrażenia docelowemu stworzeniu. Następnie tworzysz liczbę tokenów Blood równą nadmiarowi obrażeń (ile więcej niż minimalnie potrzebne, by je zabić). Tokeny są artefaktami z aktywowaną zdolnością: {1}, {T}, Discard a card, Sacrifice this token: Draw a card.

Lacerate Flesh zadaje 4 obrażenia wybranemu stworzeniu. Następnie porównaj, ile obrażeń to stworzenie potrzebuje, aby zostać zabite (minimalna ilość śmiertelnych obrażeń to zwykle jego wytrzymałość minus obrażenia już na nim). Nadmiar obrażeń to różnica między 4 a tą minimalną ilością. Tworzysz liczbę tokenów Blood równą temu nadmiarowi. Przykłady: jeśli stworzenie ma wytrzymałość 3 i nie miało wcześniej obrażeń, 4 obrażenia to 1 nadmiar → stwórz 1 token; jeśli stworzenie miało już 2 obrażenia i wytrzymałość 3, minimalne śmiertelne obrażenia to 1 więcej, więc z 4 zadanych obrażeń nadmiar to 3 → stwórz 3 tokeny. Token Blood to artefakt z aktywowaną zdolnością: {1}, {T}, Discard a card, Sacrifice this token: Draw a card. Nie możesz poświęcić tego samego tokena wielokrotnie, ani użyć jednego poświęcenia do zapłacenia za kilka kosztów jednocześnie. Jeżeli coś mówi "whenever you sacrifice a Blood token" to zadziała niezależnie od powodu poświęcenia tokena.

Przykład

Przykład 1: Zagrywasz Lacerate Flesh na stworzenie 3/3 bez wcześniejszych obrażeń. Tworzysz 1 token Blood (4 obrażenia – 3 minimalne = 1). Przykład 2: Cel jest 5/5, ma już 2 obrażenia. Minimalne śmiertelne to 3 (5 minus 2), więc 4 zadane obrażenia dają nadmiar 1 → stworzysz 1 token.

You can't sacrifice a Blood token to pay multiple costs.

If an effect refers to a Blood token, it means any artifact token with the subtype Blood, even if it has gained other subtypes.

Some spells that instruct you to create a Blood token require targets. You can't cast these spells without choosing all required targets, and if all of those targets become illegal targets, the spell won't resolve and you won't create any Blood tokens. If some but not all of those targets become illegal, you'll do as much as possible, including creating Blood tokens.

Some triggered abilities trigger "whenever you sacrifice a Blood token." These abilities trigger regardless of why you sacrificed that Blood token.

A creature has been dealt excess damage if Lacerate Flesh deals more damage to it than the minimum amount of damage required to be lethal damage. In most cases, this means damage greater than the creature's toughness, but take into account any damage that was already dealt to it that turn.
