Jeśli siła któregoś stwora jest mniejsza niż 0, odejmuje się ją od łącznej siły wybranych stworów, co może pozwolić na ocalenie stworów o sile ≥5.
Przy rozwiązywaniu najpierw wybiera gracz, którego jest tura, potem pozostali gracze kolejno w porządku tur; dopiero potem wszystkie niewybrane stwory są poświęcane naraz.
Każdy gracz wybiera dowolną liczbę stworów, a następnie sprawdza się, czy łączna siła wybranych stworów wynosi 4 lub mniej (np. dwa 2/2 lub 1/1 i 3/3 są dozwolone).

Częste pomyłki

Mylenie kolejności wyborów — wybory są robione kolejno (gracz aktywny pierwszy), a nie jednocześnie.
Mylenie ograniczenia siły — limit dotyczy łącznej siły wybranych stworów, nie maksymalnej siły pojedynczego stwora.

Przykład

Jesteś w swojej turze i kontrolujesz trzy stwory: 2/2, 2/2 i 5/5; możesz wybrać oba 2/2 (łączna siła 4) i poświęcić 5/5.

If a creature's power is somehow less than 0, it subtracts from the total power of the other creatures its controller chooses. This can cause creatures with power 5 or greater to survive.

As Slaughter the Strong resolves, first the player whose turn it is chooses which creatures will be spared, then each other player in turn order does the same knowing the choices made before them. Then all the creatures not chosen are sacrificed simultaneously.

Slaughter the Strong has each player choose any number of creatures and then checks that the total power of creatures each player chose this way is 4 or less. For example, you could save two 2/2 creatures, or a 1/1 and a 3/3 creature, but not all four of those creatures.
