Aura zaklina wybranego gracza. Każdorazowo, gdy jakaś istota atakuje tego zaklętego gracza, kontroler atakującej istoty zyskuje 1 życie. Ataki przeciwko planeswalkerom nie powodują wyzwolenia.

To jest Aura z podtypem Curse. Gdy rzucasz to zaklęcie, wybierasz gracza jako cel. Aura wchodzi na pole bitwy przyczepiona do tego gracza ("Enchant player"). Zdolność wyzwalana: "Whenever a creature attacks enchanted player, its controller gains 1 life." oznacza, że za każdym razem, gdy którakolwiek istota zadeklarowana jako atakująca ma celem (target) właśnie tego zaklętego gracza, zdarzenie wyzwalające powstaje. Kiedy zdarzenie się rozwiąże, kontroler atakującej istoty otrzymuje 1 punkt życia. Zdolność nie dotyczy sytuacji, gdy istota atakuje planeswalkera kontrolowanego przez zaklętego gracza — musi to być atak przeciwko samemu graczowi. Jeśli aura przestanie legalnie obciążać tego gracza (np. gracz zyska ochronę przed kolorem aury), zostanie przeniesiona do grobu jej właściciela.

Rulings

Each of the Curses can be attached to any player, including the player who cast the Curse.

Curse is an enchantment type, not a creature type (or any other kind of subtype).

A Curse spell targets the player it will enchant like any other Aura spell, and a Curse stays on the battlefield like any other Aura. If the enchanted player gains protection from the Curse’s color (or any other characteristic the Curse has), the Curse will be put into its owner’s graveyard.

The ability won’t trigger when a creature attacks a planeswalker controlled by the enchanted player.

The Curse subtype has no inherent rules meaning, but two cards in the Innistrad set (Bitterheart Witch and Witchbane Orb) refer to Curses.
