Myślenie, że zapobieganie usuwa źródło obrażeń — źródło wciąż istnieje, po prostu obrażenia zostały zapobiegnięte.
Próba wyboru samego Vindicatora jako "innego" celu — to nie jest dozwolone.
Nie sumowanie obrażeń, gdy kilka źródeł zadaje obrażenia jednocześnie; należy zsumować i dopiero wtedy Vindicator zadaje sumę jako obrażenia.
