Liege of the Pit

Stworzenie — Demon

Flying, trample
At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice a creature other than this creature. If you can't, this creature deals 7 damage to you.
Morph {B}

(You may cast this card face down as a 2/2 creature for {3}

Jak działa karta?

Na początku swojego utrzymania musisz poświęcić inne stworzenie niż ten Liege of the Pit. Jeśli nie możesz, ten Liege of the Pit zadaje ci 7 obrażeń.

Liege of the Pit to stworzenie z lataniem i przebijaniem (Flying, trample). Ma stałą, wyzwalaną zdolność: "At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice a creature other than this creature. If you can't, this creature deals 7 damage to you."

Możesz poświęcić jedną kopię Liege of the Pit inną niż ta, której zdolność się rozwiązuje (czyli jeśli kontrolujesz dwie, jedna może spłacić koszt drugiej).

Częste pomyłki

Myślenie, że możesz poświęcić tę samą kopię Liege of the Pit na jej własną zdolność — nie możesz.
Myślenie, że gdy masz inne stworzenie, możesz zamiast poświęcania wybrać otrzymanie 7 obrażeń — jeśli poświęcenie jest możliwe, musisz je wykonać.
Zapominanie, że jeśli kontrolujesz drugą kopię Liege of the Pit, możesz ją poświęcić jako "inne stworzenie" dla pierwszej kopii.

Przykład

Przykład 1: Kontrolujesz jednego Liege of the Pit i żadnego innego stworzenia. Na początku twojego utrzymania nie możesz poświęcić innego stworzenia, więc Liege of the Pit zadaje ci 7 obrażeń.
Przykład 2: Kontrolujesz dwa Liege of the Pit.
Przykład 3: Kontrolujesz Liege of the Pit i inne stworzenie 2/2.
