Modalne karty dwustronne wchodzą frontem do góry i przy sprawdzaniu typu/liczbie many liczy się tylko ta face.

Częste pomyłki

Wybieranie supertypu (np. basic) lub podtypu (np. Forest, Aura) jako typu karty — nie wolno tego robić.
Przy rozstrzyganiu, czy odsłonięta modalna karta dwustronna pasuje do wybranego typu, branie pod uwagę tylkó z drugiej strony karty — należy patrzeć wyłącznie na frontową stronę w bibliotece/na stosie/w chwili odtwarzania w zależności od instrukcji.

You may choose any card type, but the ones that may appear in your library are artifact, battle, creature, enchantment, instant, kindred, land, planeswalker, and sorcery. Supertypes such as snow and basic may not be chosen. Subtypes such as God, Aura, and Forest also may not be chosen.

If an effect puts a double-faced card onto the battlefield, it enters with its front face up. If that front face can't be put onto the battlefield, it doesn't enter the battlefield.

The mana value of a modal double-faced card is based on the characteristics of the face that's being considered. On the stack and battlefield, consider whichever face is up. In all other zones, consider only the front face. This is different than how the mana value of a transforming double-faced card is determined.
