Jak działa karta?

When the front face (Glasspool Mimic) enters, choose a creature already on the battlefield. Glasspool Mimic becomes a copy of that creature, but it’s also a Shapeshifter Rogue. It copies printed characteristics, not attachments, counters, tapped state or temporary effects. ETB abilities of the copied creature still trigger.

Glasspool Mimic // Glasspool Shore is modal double-faced: front face is a creature (Glasspool Mimic) and back face is a land (Glasspool Shore). When Glasspool Mimic enters the battlefield, you choose a creature already on the battlefield. Glasspool Mimic enters as a copy of that chosen creature, with these modifications and limits: it copies the printed characteristics of the chosen creature (or whatever that creature copied), and in addition it is a Shapeshifter Rogue. It does not copy temporary physical states (tapped/untapped), counters, Auras/Equipment attached, or continuous effects that changed power/toughness, color, types, etc. If the chosen creature was a token, Mimic copies the token’s original printed characteristics but does not become a token. If the chosen creature had an "as" or "with" ETB clause or any ETB triggers, those will apply for Mimic when it enters. If the chosen creature was copying another object, Mimic becomes whatever that object was copied from. You may only choose a creature that is already on the battlefield (not one entering at the same time). Because this card is a modal double-faced card, rules about which face is relevant apply: mana value and characteristics depend on the face being considered; in zones other than stack/battlefield the front face is used; the card can’t be transformed; and if some effect puts the card onto the battlefield it enters front face up (and must be able to enter as that face).

Ważne interakcje

Wehn resolving ETB of Glasspool Mimic you choose a creature already on the battlefield (not one entering simultaneously). It then enters as a copy of that creature, except it’s also a Shapeshifter Rogue and keeps its front/back characteristics rules for modal double-faced cards.
If the chosen creature is itself copying something, Mimic enters as whatever that creature copied. If the chosen creature is a token, Mimic copies the original characteristics of that token (it does not become a token).
Mimic copies only what is printed (or what the copied creature copied); it does not copy whether the original is tapped, counters on it, attached Auras/Equipment, or any effects that changed its P/T, types, or color. Temporary changes that made the chosen creature a creature might mean Mimic isn’t a creature.
Any "enter the battlefield" triggered abilities or "as/with" ETB clauses on the copied creature will trigger or apply for Mimic when it enters as that copy.
Glasspool Mimic’s mana value and how it’s played are determined by the face you are considering: on the battlefield and stack consider the face up; in other zones consider the front face. You may cast or play the card only as a face that is legal for that action (e.g., you can play it as a land if choosing the land face).
A modal double-faced card can’t be transformed or put onto the battlefield transformed; ignore any instruction to transform it. If an effect puts a double-faced card onto the battlefield, it enters with its front face up; if the front face can’t enter the battlefield, the card doesn’t enter.
If Mimic copies a creature that has in its mana cost, treat X as 0 for determining the copied creature’s mana cost-related characteristics.
If another effect makes a creature become a copy of Glasspool Mimic, that creature will also be a Shapeshifter Rogue.

Glasspool Mimic copies exactly what was printed on the original creature (unless that creature is copying something else or is a token; see below), except that it's also a Shapeshifter Rogue. It doesn't copy whether that creature is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or any Auras and Equipment attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, or so on. Most notably, if it copies a creature that's not normally a creature, it won't be a creature.
