Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Kird Chieftain

Creature — Ape

This creature gets +1/+1 as long as you control a Forest.
{4}

: Target creature gets +2/+2 and gains trample until end of turn. (It can deal excess combat damage to the player or planeswalker it's attacking.)

Jak działa karta?

Kird Chieftain zyskuje +1/+1, jeśli kontrolujesz Forest. Za {4} {G} możesz dać dowolnemu stworzeniu +2/+2 i trample do końca tury.

Kird Chieftain to stworzenie typu Ape. Ma dwie oddzielne zdolności opisane w tekście Oracle.

1) Statyczna zdolność: "This creature gets +1/+1 as long as you control a Forest." Oznacza to, że dopóki kontrolujesz przynajmniej jedno permanentowe pole typu Forest (czyli ląd z typem podstawowym Forest), Kird Chieftain otrzymuje stały bonus +1/+1. Jeśli przestaniesz kontrolować Forest, bonus znika natychmiast.

2) Zdolność aktywowana: " {4} {G} : Target creature gets +2/+2 and gains trample until end of turn."

Effects that change whether you control a Forest (for example, an effect that turns a land you control into a different basic land type) can cause Kird Chieftain's +1/+1 bonus to start or stop applying immediately when the change happens.
If Kird Chieftain gains or loses control of a Forest while it's on the battlefield (for example, you gain control of an opponent's land that is a Forest), the +1/+1 bonus updates accordingly.
The activated ability (: Target creature gets +2/+2 and gains trample until end of turn) can target any creature, including Kird Chieftain itself, and can be activated even if the creature wouldn't normally be able to attack that turn (it still grants the temporary buff and trample).
If multiple continuous effects modify a creature's power and toughness, apply them in the layers system; Kird Chieftain's static +1/+1 from controlling a Forest is one such continuous effect.
If the target creature is removed from the battlefield before the activated ability resolves, the ability does nothing to that creature (it has no effect on creatures not on the battlefield).
If the target creature gains trample from another source as well, trample is simply present; having trample multiple times doesn't change rules beyond it being present.

Przykład: Kontrolujesz Kird Chieftain i Forest.
