Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Wulkaniczny Strumień (Volcanic Torrent)

Zaklęcie

Cascade (Kiedy rzucasz to zaklęcie, wygnaj karty z góry swojej biblioteki, aż wygnasz kartę niebędącą lądem o niższej wartości many. Możesz ją rzucić bez płacenia jej kosztu many.

Cascade: wygnaj karty aż do nie-lądu o niższej wartości many i możesz rzucić ją bez płacenia kosztu (X=0 dla {X} ). Następnie Volcanic Torrent zadaje X obrażeń każdemu stworzeniu i planeswalkerowi przeciwników, gdzie X to liczba zaklęć, które rzuciłeś tej tury (wliczając Volcanic Torrent i zaklęcia rzucone w odpowiedzi).

Volcanic Torrent ma dwie części: Cascade i efekt obrażeń zależny od X. 1) Cascade: Po rzuceniu tej zaklęcia wygnaj karty z góry biblioteki zakrycie (wygnane są odkryte), aż wśród nich znajdzie się karta niebędąca lądem o niższej wartości many niż wartość many Volcanic Torrent. Możesz od razu rzucić tę wygnaną kartę bez płacenia jej kosztu many.

Cascade: When you cast Volcanic Torrent, exile cards from the top of your library face up until you exile a nonland card with mana value less than Volcanic Torrent's mana value. You may cast that exiled card without paying its mana cost (but you must pay any mandatory additional costs and choose X=0 for in its cost). Put the other exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.
Cascade timing: Cascade triggers when you cast Volcanic Torrent and resolves before Volcanic Torrent does. If you cast the exiled card, it goes on the stack above Volcanic Torrent.
Mana value for cascade: Use only the exiled card's mana value as printed (including both halves for split cards). The card you cast from cascade must have strictly lower mana value than Volcanic Torrent. If the exiled card is a split card, you may cast one half (its mana value is the combined cost).
Casting without paying its mana cost: You cannot pay alternative costs when casting the exiled card; you may pay optional or additional costs. If the exiled card has in its cost, X is 0 when casting it this way.
Visibility: The exiled cards are exiled face up; all players can see them.
If Volcanic Torrent is countered: Its cascade ability still resolves (it was already put on the stack when cast).
Copies and counting spells for X: Copies of spells do not count toward the number of spells you've cast unless an effect actually tells you to copy a card and then cast that copy. When Volcanic Torrent resolves it counts all spells you have cast this turn, including Volcanic Torrent itself and any spells cast in response to it, even if they haven't resolved yet.

You exile the cards face up. All players will be able to see them.

2021-06-18

A spell's mana value is determined only by its mana cost. Ignore any alternative costs, additional costs, cost increases, or cost reductions.

2021-06-18

The mana value of a split card is determined by the combined mana cost of its two halves. If cascade allows you to cast a split card, you may cast either half but not both halves.

2021-06-18

If you cast a card "without paying its mana cost," you can't choose to cast it for any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, you must pay those to cast the card.

2021-06-18

If the card has {X} in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as the value of X when casting it without paying its mana cost.

2021-06-18

Cascade triggers when you cast the spell, meaning that it resolves before that spell. If you end up casting the exiled card, it will go on the stack above the spell with cascade.

2021-06-18

If a spell with cascade is countered, the cascade ability will still resolve normally.

2021-06-18

Due to a 2021 rules change to cascade, not only do you stop exiling cards if you exile a nonland card with lesser mana value than the spell with cascade, but the resulting spell you cast must also have lesser mana value. Previously, in cases where a card's mana value differed from the resulting spell, such as with some modal double-faced cards or cards with an Adventure, you could cast a spell with a higher mana value than the exiled card.

2021-06-18

When the cascade ability resolves, you must exile cards. The only optional part of the ability is whether or not you cast the last card exiled.

2020-11-10

If you copy a spell, Volcanic Torrent won't count the copy. However, if an effect instructs you to copy a card and then cast the copy, it will be counted by Volcanic Torrent.

2020-11-10

The value of X is calculated as Volcanic Torrent resolves. It will include Volcanic Torrent, spells you cast in response to Volcanic Torrent, and spells you cast prior to casting Volcanic Torrent, even if those spells haven't resolved yet. For example, say the first spell you cast in a turn has cascade and that cascade ability causes you to cast Volcanic Torrent. Then Volcanic Torrent's cascade ability causes you to cast another spell. When Volcanic Torrent resolves, X will be 3.
