Stern Lesson

Instant

Draw two cards, then discard a card. Create a tapped Powerstone token. (It's an artifact with " {T}

: Add

. This mana can't be spent to cast a nonartifact spell.")

Jak działa karta?

Stern Lesson: dobierasz 2, odrzucasz 1, tworzysz zakręcony token Powerstone. Token to artefakt z " {T} : Add {C} . This mana can't be spent to cast a nonartifact spell."

This mana can't be spent to cast a nonartifact spell."

Rzucasz Stern Lesson — dobierasz dwie karty, potem odrzucasz jedną, a następnie tworzysz potwór-token Powerstone w stanie zakręconym (tapped).
Powerstone to artefakt-token z umiejętnością ": Add . This mana can't be spent to cast a nonartifact spell." — możesz zakręcić (tap) token, by dodać jedną bezbarwną many .

Przykład: Rzucasz Stern Lesson w swojej turze, dobierasz dwie karty (masz teraz więcej opcji), odrzucasz jedną, a następnie tworzysz Powerstone token zakręcony. W następnej fazie, gdy będzie twoja kolej na użycie mana, możesz odkręcić token, by dodać {C} i zapłacić nim np. koszt aktywacji zdolności lub zapłacić za inny artefakt. Nie możesz nim zapłacić kosztu rzucenia nieartefaktowego zaklęcia (np. czaru stwora).

You can use the {C} added by a Powerstone token on anything that isn't a nonartifact spell. This includes paying costs to activate abilities of both artifact and nonartifact permanents, paying ward costs, and so on.

2022-10-14

Powerstone tokens are a kind of predefined token. Each one has the artifact subtype "Powerstone" and the ability "{T}: Add {C}. This mana can't be spent to cast a nonartifact spell."

2022-10-14

Although all the cards in The Brothers' War that create Powerstone tokens create a tapped Powerstone token, entering the battlefield tapped isn't part of the token's definition. Notably, if you create a token that is a copy of a Powerstone token, the token copy won't enter the battlefield tapped.
