Jak działa karta?

Daje twoim stworom przebicie i uniemożliwia stwom przeciwników posiadanie lub zdobycie przebicia. Blokery przeciwnika tracą/nie mogą zyskać tej zdolności, nawet jeśli ktoś później spróbuje jej im nadać przez rozwiązanie czaru.

Ta karta daje wszystkim twoim stworom przebicie. Jednocześnie wszystkie stworzy twoich przeciwników tracą przebicie i nie mogą go mieć ani zyskać. Jeśli efekt, który miałby nadać przebicie stworom przeciwnika, powstał z rozwiązania czaru lub zdolności, ten efekt w ogóle nie zostanie utworzony dopóki kontrolujesz Archetyp; natomiast jeśli przebicie pochodzi ze stałego efektu (np. Jeżeli kontrolujesz Archetyp, efekty ciągłe powstające w wyniku rozwiązania czarów i zdolności, które dawałyby odpowiednią zdolność stworom kontrolowanym przez twoich przeciwników, nie zostaną utworzone; efekty statyczne (np. Aura nadająca zdolność) wznowią działanie, jeśli Archetyp opuści pole bitwy.

Częste pomyłki

Mylenie braku tworzenia efektu z jednorazowym usunięciem: jeśli efekt nadający przebicie miał powstać w wyniku rozwiązania czaru lub zdolności, w ogóle nie powstanie, dopóki kontrolujesz Archetyp.
Zakładanie, że karta ogranicza jedynie obecne przebicie — ona zabrania posiadania i zdobywania przebicia, więc nawet późniejsze próby nadania tej zdolności (przez rozwiązywanie czarów/zdolności) nie stworzą efektu.

Przykład

Jeżeli kontrolujesz Archetyp Agresji i napadasz 3/3 oraz bloker przeciwnika ma 2/2, nadmiar obrażeń przechodzi na gracza z powodu przebicia; jednocześnie żaden stwór przeciwnika nie posiada przebicia ani nie może go zyskać.

The Archetype’s second ability applies to each creature controlled by any of your opponents, no matter when it entered the battlefield.

If you and an opponent each control the same Archetype, no creature controlled by any player will have the appropriate ability.

2014-02-01

While you control an Archetype, continuous effects generated by the resolution of spells and abilities that would give the specified ability to creatures your opponents control aren’t created. For example, if you control Archetype of Courage, a spell cast by an opponent that gives creatures they control first strike wouldn’t cause the creatures to have first strike, even if later in the turn Archetype of Courage left the battlefield. (If the spell has additional effects, such as raising the power of the creatures, those effects will apply as normal.)

Conversely, continuous effects generated by static abilities (such as an Aura that granted the appropriate ability) would resume applying if the Archetype left the battlefield.
