Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Rackling

Artefakt — Stworzenie — Phyrexian Construct

Rackling is artefakt-stworzenie — Phyrexian Construct. It has a triggered ability: "At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, this creature deals X damage to that player, where X is 3 minus the number of cards in their hand." This means at each opponent's upkeep you put a triggered ability on the stack. When that ability resolves, calculate X as 3 minus how many cards the opponent currently has in hand. If that calculation yields 0 or a negative number, the ability will deal 0 damage (i.e. do nothing). If it yields a positive number, the ability deals that much damage to that opponent. The ability uses the number of cards in hand at resolution, not at the moment it triggered, so changes to hand size between trigger and resolution affect X. The ability deals noncombat damage and can be affected by effects that prevent or modify damage. The source (Rackling) does not need to be on the battlefield when the ability resolves for the damage to be dealt.

Ważne interakcje

At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, the trigger goes on the stack for that opponent. Determine X by counting cards in their hand at the moment the trigger resolves (see short explanation).
If the opponent has 0, 1, or 2 cards in hand, X is 3, 2, or 1 respectively. If they have 3 or more cards, X is 0 or negative; a creature dealing 0 or negative damage deals no damage (nothing happens).
If multiple effects change number of cards in hand before the trigger resolves (for example, they draw or discard), X is recalculated at resolution using the current hand size.
If Rackling leaves the battlefield or stops being a creature before the triggered ability resolves, the ability still resolves (it deals damage independent of the source being present).
Damage dealt by this ability can be prevented or modified by effects that apply to damage. It is not combat damage.

Przykład: Na początku tury przeciwnika ma on 1 kartę w ręce.
